Because it is held downtown on a closed-off city street every Thursday afternoon from April to October. I love supporting our local farmers and getting the freshest produce possible. We have everything from fresh vegies, heirloom tomatoes, wild mushrooms at this time of year, to wine tasting, beer tasting, local artists selling their jewelry and quality items, lavendar, fresh flowers, grilled ribs, fresh squeezed lemonade, artisan breads from our local Red Fox Bakery. Where else can one experience the coming together of a community in such a great setting? How many other towns close off a city street to offer their residents so much? We have a unique setting in a very unique town and I make sure I don't miss the opportunity to get it all.
