Love Your Farmer's Market Contest

The earth reaps great and good food and we are rich to have the chance to buy it from our local farmers and have this part of our Newburyport "diet" of good and fresh. I love this local effort to bring community together around the things we do fresh and best!

We need fresh food, and so we must have our farmers' market! Our market offers local farmers another opportunity to provide to us much needed nutritious sustenance grown locally. It is an event that supports our health and the health of our community

I believe in the importance of quality, fresh, local, natural foods that come from small and dedicated farmers.

The Newburyport Farmer's Market has been a long awaited addition to the city and has the potential to boost local farming as well as benefiting local retail businesses.

It's the best!

Fresh, local grown food is the best for all. This is the best way to 'go green.' No long distance transportation/fuel emissions, pesticides that put produce 'to sleep' then again to 'wake up' when it gets to final destination. Plus the added benefit of keeping local farmers working, which is good for everyone.

A great way to open our kids eyes to the 'bigger' picture of food and healthy choices. It's a great atmosphere for all.

I like to support local farmers and enjoy the fresh produce (and fresh cider doughnuts!!)
