This is a true neighborhood-based farmers market that is entirely volunteer-run. Pat Mueller puts in countless hours for the market and other activities that make Washington Park and Martin Drive healthy and interesting places to live!

Fullfilled a missing link in our westside neighborhood. It is more than just a farmers market it is a community builder for those who live inside and outside of the area

I want to support the neighborhood plus have good fresh local produce each week. It is important to eat healthy.

The fresh produce they supply to the neighborhood and surrounding areas helps to promote healthy eating. The variety that's supplied gives great choices.

Love those fresh locally grown by neighbors vegetables and the bakery and honey and crafts too.

I appreciate having local produce in the neighborhood. I see part of the future potential of Vilet St. Green Market as linking the neighborhoods of Washington Park, Martin Drive, and Washington Heights, by allowing us the opportunity to interact together.

The Market is a perfect example of what the Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative can do to enhance a neighborhood and bring residents together.

They have a good selection of in season and organic vegetables each week. The prices are great also. It is just a few blocks from my house so I can just walk over and check out what is available each week.

it's a great way to support local businesses and at the same time get fresh seasonal produce, flowers, etc. - in the neighborhood.
