fm is a great relaxing time, the food is excellent and the venders are kind enough to pass donations to feed the homeless for "food not bombs".

Small town, friendly people, hippies, walking distance, organic, local produce, exactly what you want in a Farmer's Market.

The selection is expansive and produce/products are always fresh, unique, and delicious!

Rain or Shine it is the best thing to do on a Saturday morning!

They have a really nice selecction of fresh fruit, veggies, flowers, baked goods and craft items. The prices are very reasonable especially compared to Davis and the Bay area. I get to visit with some of my friends at this Farmers' Mkt.

Our market is in a small college city surrounded by farms dedicated to promoting a community atmosphere. A year round market, it offers the best of local family farms, merchants, and bakeries. At Chico Farmer's Market I can buy all the food I need from the people who grow it. It offers everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to bread, eggs, rice, olive oil, chai, coffee, cheese and fresh tamales. Not to mention the flowers and handmade soaps and aromatherapy and skin oils. Fresh flowers and local nurseries round out the picture.

Slow, local food makes good.

It has wonderful produce, baked goods, bee products, plants, essential oils--needs to have flower essences and handmade skin oils.

It lowers your blood pressure just to be amidst the gorgeous, freshest, fruits, veggies, nutz and friends. Fresh air, music, lovely people and oh, the farmers support! One of the main reasons I live in Chico!

The Chico Farmers' Market is one of the most unique markets in California if not the United States. Chico is an agricultural area that has morphed into a suburban area that coexists with its agricultural and California State University, Chico. We are unique because most of the the 60 + farmers that sell in our market every week come from the local area in Chico, Unlike other markets in California where farmers travel a minimum of 4 hours to attend a market. We have constant visitors that come to our market and tell us that this is the best market they have ever attended, I guess they could just be saying that. That is why I support our wonderful farmers' market.
