this is a large farmers market with local produce and other things arts and crafts. it is always a fun place to go.
Always have great selection of vegetables and fruits, flowers. Crafts and gift vendors too. Really nice and helpful vendors.

It's perfect! I travel in from a local town & will spend hours there! My can get my veggies for the week, find some plants & flowers that I can find in no other location. That alone amazes friends and family members:) Have to stay for lunch and enjoy the folks coming & going. A perfect day. I recommend anyone with out of town company to make a Sat stop at the Litte Rock River Market. It's come a long way!

I love strolling through River Market Farmers' Market on a warm Saturday morning and purchasing the always fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, etc. The vendors are so friendly and the atmosphere is super-cool. Plus I feel good, knowing I'm supporting my local farmers!

My wife and I travel form the State of Texas to support the Market becasue of its fresh veggies ! and the shops are fun !
Over the past decade, our Downtown has reemerged as the vibrant hub of our city, in which our Farmers' Market has played a huge role--supporting local farmers while bringing people from all around the city every Tuesday and Saturday to take pride in the produce produced in our state.
It is the best place to get local fresh produce and it is only a block from where I live! It is a great community gathering spot.

It's a wonderful place to go and connect with your community. What better place to support local businesses than when buying direct from farmers. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Nothing like going to the market and picking up some fresh flowers and fruit. My son gets so excited seeing everything on display. There is beautiful local artwork like pottery and jewerly. It's a great way to start the weekend.

We get fresh fruits and vegetables. It is because of the hard work of farmers. We need to support them. All the produce stay fresh throughout the week.

Being in an agri state and still stores buy outside the state, the River Market gives us a place to sample our local products by local people. Everyone wins. Farmers and the people. It also doesnt hurt that the Market is on the Arkansas River and looks beautiful.
Without our farmers market we wouldn't get the freshest vegetables we need. We also need to support our local farmers and quit buying food shipped in from other locals.
My favorite thing about summer is the bounty of gardens--both vegetable and floral. I look forward to Saturdays and am almost always there by 7:00, leaving loaded like a pack mule knowing the week ahead will be blessed with good, fresh food and flowers!
I support the Market because the Market provides local artists and farmers with a great place to display and sell their merchandise. The Market helps expose the general public to a culture of creativity and healthy living. I have a variety of fond memories surrounding the Market. I think our Market makes Little Rock a more culturally diverse and beautiful place to visit.

Fresh yummy delicious goodness available all in one stop
I've since moved to New Jersey, but my hometown Farmer's Market still beats anything I've seen elsewhere and I always make it a point to visit when I'm home.
It 4 blocks from my office and it has the best produce and the best customer service of any market I have ever visited across the country. I always take my friends there when they visit our city and they go back telling the family and friends about it.

I'm a transplanted Texan, who is an Arkansan by choice. The River Market Farmers' Market has been one of my favorite places. I really enjoy keeping in touch with these friendly folks, and the produce is always the freshest, and best looking stuff you can get. But the best part is it's grown locally! I just love that!

I miss going to the River Market and seeing all the people who grow the best and freshest veggies and fruit, not to mention, their flowers. I am stuck in Pine Bluff but my hubby grows his own bounty.
Nothing beats Arkansas produce. Arkansas could easily change to local produce with the abundance we have in Little Rock and the state as a whole.

You find good, reasonably produce and a welcoming and communal environment. You can shop with friends, meet friends at a number of really good locally owned eateries within the River Market. The main branch of the library is a block away too. When I'm there I don't want to leave!

The people are very friendly. The vegetables are fresh and at a reasonable price. There are places you can rest and eat while there. They have a variaty of vegetable and crafts. Just a good way to spend the afternoon.

There is not enough education about organic food here in this state. Obese children, and other diseases are linked to non-organic produce. I love the fact that every farmer at Little Rock, Arkansas' Farmer's Market pushes the mentality, "NO FARM NO FOOD"!~IT'S A VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE WE DON'T ADDRESS!! HOW ABOUT A GREEN MCDONALD'S??
