The Carrboro Farmers' Market is rad! It has an amazing variety of delicious fruits, veggies, flowers, local pork and beef, free-range eggs, artisan cheeses, tarts, and donuts! I love the specialty items, too: herbal tinctures, hand-woven baskets, and colorful yarns. My favorite things at market: Peregrine Farm flowers, Pine Knot Farm hot Italian sausage, Celebrity Dairy chevre, Eco Farm mesclun salad mix, Timberwood Organic greens, Chapel Hill Creamery cheese, Perry-winkle potatoes, Cane Creek pork chops. And that's just a smidgen of all the good things there!
I love the variety and quality of produce and pastries that are available. Our farmers care about the customers!

Because it's the best! Wonderful to support local folk and be sustainable b/c it's locally grown goods vs. trucked in produce. It's also a social event and an opportunity to come together as a community.
