Advocate a Plan for Children's Health at the MDG Summit

The 2015 deadline for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is quickly approaching. According to Secretary of State for International Development Andrew Mitchell (MP), many of these MDGs are off-track.

One of the most important and unfortunately most off-track goals is MDG 4, the improvement of worldwide children's health.

In September, a special review summit on the MDGs will convene, and we need to make sure the UK's leadership strongly advocates for a strategic organizational platform for overseas health, specifically for the world's poorest children and mothers.

Let Deputy Prime Minister Clegg, who will attend the summit, know that children's health is a priority. Ask him to accelerate plans for accomplishing this important MDG at the upcoming summit.
Dear Deputy Prime Minister Clegg,

The 2015 deadline for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) is quickly approaching, and many of the MDGS are off-track.

One of the most important and unfortunately most off-track goals is the improvement of worldwide children's health.

In September, a special review summit on the MDGs will convene in New York. Right now, the MDGs risks failure, but with strong and swift action we can succeed. We need a strategic organization platform for overseas health, especially for the world's poorest children and mothers.

Children's health is an issue that affects worldwide social advancement, and it is a priority to me. I urge you to formulate a global action plan on maternal, newborn, and child health that will accelerate progress on the Millenium Development Goals at the upcoming summit.
