10 Healthy Summer Drink Recipes

Temperatures are rising, and that means shorts weather, beach vacations, and grilling. It also means a general feeling of sweatiness and the urge to crank the old air conditioner.

Unless you’re powering your home with alternative energy, chances are you’re getting the electricity for the A/C from the power grid, and here in the U.S. that means predominantly one thing: coal. Those high summer power bills from blasting the air drives up demand for coal, which means more mountaintop removal mining and more air pollution. Boo on that!

One of the easiest ways to stay comfortable in the summer without using so much coal-fired power is to cool your body from the inside out, and that means lots of cold glasses of water! If you’re getting a little tired of downing glass after glass of plain old H2O, try some of these healthy, cooling, summer mocktails instead!

My mom grows lemons so she has been making us litres and litres of lemonade whether we want it or not xD.
If you try to make your own drinks and they taste...bleh, dont give up; perhaps all you need is to add a little something. So if your lemonade-for example-sucks, just add some mint :)
Trust me, you will stop buying juices and whatnot because your homemade version will taste just as awesome.
