1,000 Ways to Change Your Life

1,000 Ways to Change Your Life

The Spiritual Journey is one of a Thousand Lessons, a Thousand Teachers, and a Thousand Ways.

There are a Thousand Lessons to be learned in your lifetime valuable lessons that help you live a happier, more peaceful, more grounded life. Lessons such as Gratitude, Humility, Detachment, Kindness, Decisiveness, Generosity, and so on. With every Lesson comes the release of some inner pain. With every Lesson comes greater Peace and Joy. With every Lesson, the door to Spirit opens a little wider.

I think Ive learned about 200 of these lessons. I know I have a ways to go. Some of the Lessons were easy to learn, but others have taken decades. The habits of lower consciousness are strong indeed, but with persistence, they can all be replaced with the habits of higher consciousness. All of them.

Fortunately for us, there are a Thousand Teachers of those lessons, and they appear magically and constantly. When the heart is open, the Universe speaks. When the student is ready, the Master appears, often in the most unusual and unexpected forms!

There are formal teachers like philosophers, priests, therapists, and professors, to be sure, but also family and friends and co-workers.

And children, and people passing by, and dogs, and cats, and flowers.

And the wind in the trees, and the sound of flowing water.

The list goes on and on. The Teachers are everywhere.

And there are a Thousand Ways to Shift Energy and change your life experience. There are Thousand Things you can do right now to let go of your stress and tension, and open up to Spirit. You can take a deep breath, stretch your arms, or take a walk. You can slow down your thoughts, have a drink of water, take a bite to eat, say a poem or prayer, or listen to some music….Continue reading at InspireMeToday.com.

I am enjoying a bit of peace right now as the little ones are in school and I am off of work. Wonderful! Life is great and my way of dealing with heavy stress is to stay in the now moment. That means focusing breathing (Prana life source), my surroundings, certain leaves falling etc.. That always works for me.

Living is learning. There are many steps to be taken on a personal journey. Things in life often change like the seasons, bringing new experiences both joys, tragedies and learning experiences.

At the moment I am learning to plot the demise of the Canadian winter, or at least limiting it to a two week period in Decembrrr. With a shortened winter, I can place a hammock between two palm trees and rest in the warm sunny breezes in February. (In my dreams, -40 is in a January and February coming close to me soon). So is hot chocolate and skating on the Rideau canal.
