butter is probably the most expensive option you could choose for these tasks, but generally helpful (I'm going to try vegetable oil on my shovel)...

Unsalted butter is so tasty mixed with parsley, chives and dill. Sounds better to use butter for squeaky doors that the spray chemicals. Butter is far healthier than margarine.
