One time, we didn't have enough seats, so we brought in lawn chairs from outside and one guy even sat up on top of the bar.
thanks...
Not only are most folding chairs not very comfy, but it's quite a bit more envirementally friendly to pick things up at yard sale/thift store/2nd hand and y'know re-use things. They are good space savers though...
You have seemed to have forgotten how uncomfortable folding chairs are.
Thanks - but I think I pass on the folding chairs.
I am using a long re-vamped bench I found in a thrift store, and when it is not used for seating, I 'store' it under the windows with flowers, books and pillows on top.

Noted! Thanks, Remodelista!
Not even one of them looks the least bit comfortable!
thrift store/ yard sale/ has cheap chairs and also in my town if you just look outside in the summer curbside you can find all sorts of perfectly good chairs thrown out with the trash.
5 gallon bucket at menards $2.60 if you want to get all snooty and fancy you make a combination lid/seat but it doubles the price for $2.96. or you can just throw cushions on the floor or you can have guest take turns sitting on each other's laps which makes for cozy togetherness.
