From a classic American Apple pie to our Tropical Mango Banana Pie, these simple, fun and raw Gentle World pie recipes put a new twist on both classic and exotic desserts. Each raw pie recipe uses a blend of delicious nuts, seeds, fruits and spices to create both familiar and innovative flavors.
If you’re a raw food purist, be warned though: some of the recipes do include frozen bananas and maple syrup, but the maple syrup is easy to substitute for soaked dates* and the creamy texture frozen bananas give our pies is just too good to pass up.
Even if you’ve never made a pie before, or a raw dessert for that matter, these dishes will be a cinch to perfect and enjoy. So next time you’re having friends over for dinner or a special lunch why not try your hand at one of these fresh raw party pies!
* If you are substituting soaked dates for maple syrup then the ratio is approximately 1 date per 1/8 cup syrup. Soak the date in the water and then blend before adding to the dish.

Thank you
wish you had pictures of all the pies
thx
interesting
Looks easy to follow. Yummy results.
dont be fooled, this recipie is super high in fat and combinding all of this fat and carbohydrates together means you make your self at risk for high blood sugar, candida and eventually diabetes-
With a diet low in fat (10% or less of total caloric intake) you don´t have to worry about blood sugar issues, candida and diabetes and you can eat all the fruit you care for without your blood sugar getting high, its the fat the counts, sure a small handful of almonds and a few scoops of avocado every now and then is satisfying but this eat like this all of the time isnt healthy,
Low fat raw foods are far healthier, just because its ¨¨raw¨¨ doent make it healthy
Hope this saves some people time as I spent quite a bit of time going through the High fat raw diet and have finally made the transition to low fat raw vegan and feel so much better.
Thanks
Worth trying. Thanks.
