great article, my fav had to be Scarlett :)
Thanks for sharing these amazing stories. The one about Scarlett touched my heart the most. What a courageous cat!
Quinton S. says if an animal trusts you you must have a kind and caring heart. It would be nice if this were true, but using dogs as an example, some owners are cruel monsters but the dog still loves its master as they are such loyal animals. I also recall last year the story of a woman who petted a cat to gain its trust and she then threw the animal in a dumpster, which luckily for the cat was recorded on a street security camera. Also I remember two hideous young men who tortured a pelican near where I was living- the poor thing used to hang around the marina for handouts and was a 'sitting duck' for these monsters. I cannot resist patting every dog, cat and horse I come across, but sometimes I worry that the animal may become trusting of all humans when the bitter truth is that some people are monsters.
Cats are amazing so are all the animals of the world to be HUMAN an gain the trust of a cat is one of life's great fulfilment. If an animal trust you you must have a kind and caring heart. =^..^=
Matthew Flinders toured the globe and circumnavigated Australia with his faithful moggy Trim. He loved Trim enough to write his biography. An exerpt: "To the memory of Trim, the best and most illustrious of his Race, the most affectionate of friends, faithful of servants, and best of creatures". Alas poor Trim eventually came to a sticky end as he was believed to have been eaten by the natives of the Isle of France.
amazing stories...never under estimate animals....that's why I feel for people who don't like or appreciate them...
