+ add your ownI grew up in North Carolina. The last I've heard, Bald Head Island doesn't allow cars; everyone goes around on golf carts. It's more of a vacation spot than anything else, but there are a lot of people who take the ferry from Southport every morning to work.

Sark and Herm in the Channel Islands are too small to have cars. I think cars are a bit overrated. I don't miss them.
