Mother’s day is coming up soon (May 13th) and while some of us get an A for preparation, others (ahem!) often procrastinate when it comes to gift buying. I know that my mom, like many moms out there, always tells me not to worry because she doesn’t need anything. “No, really, I don’t! Don’t buy me anything!” But the truth is, need it or not, your mom deserves to be pampered at least one day a year. So while new house shoes are awesome if hers are wearing out, we’d love to offer seven handmade gifts that really are something special. Feel good about sending your money into the hands of real artists and crafters. Besides, JCPenney can probably do without your hard-earned money this year.

i would have to agree with Sarah M. I thought there were instructions on how to make the gifts...so it's a matter of buying someone else's handmade gifts...gotcha! i ended up just going shopping with my mother to get her whatever it was that she needed.
Some fun products; I especially like #6. But the title of this article is a bit misleading...I have to admit I was expecting some craft instructions or something, and I'm disappointed.
