1. Beaches of El Nido, The Philippines
The Philippines probably isn’t the first place you might think of when you think of a gorgeous tropical paradise — but it should be. Complete with turquoise waters, white sandy beaches — not to mention some of the most impressive vegetation and wildlife in the area, if not the world — El Nido Beach is a true stunner. What’s below the waters is equally as impressive: an endemic species of dolphin, 50 different kinds of coral, 813 fish species and 4 species of marine turtles, all of which are endangered. Still not convinced? Well, the views aren’t too shabby either: you’ll find several gorgeous cliffs, waterfalls and caves.

Thank you for the great information
Too much fun! Kids just love to play, no matter the species.
Most of my recent experiences at work have been less than positive. Maybe because of a general atmo…
Very cute. Loved the pickin' too.

Blue Lagoon Beach in Oludeniz in Turkey should be on this list.
By the way it makes me cry to know I will never see these places as I have no money to travel
;-((((.
Awesome beaches.Thanks for sharing
You omitted our local beach, Iztuzu at Dalyan in SW Turkey. A 5km long spit of fine sand, where the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta) nest. The beach separates the Dalyan River delta and reed beds from the Mediterranean Sea and from May to October the beach is guarded at night to protect the turtles. A very beautiful sweep of sand, development is prohibited, and you access the beach by either a mountainous road, or by boat along the river channel. Iztuzu was voted top beach by The Times newspaper in 2008, and we love it and cherish it!
Thank you Katie, for Sharing this!
