There are hundreds of videos made every day about unusual pets. This one is different. It’s a story about a duck-hunting trucker who bought himself a duck-hunting dog. But the dog wouldn’t hunt. So he bought a duck instead, who quickly became the family pet. He had a particular affection for the trucker and was distraught when the trucker left every morning to go to work. One day he jumped in the cab and invited himself along. It became his daily routine.
The video shows the duck and his trucker dad going about their rounds. The duck supervises the work, and gets admiring attention from passers by.

odd how many people can compartmentalize things so easily. after i had a rabbit when i was still eating meat, i wouldn't consider eating rabbit any more than eating a cat or a dog or even a monkey 'cause they look so much like us. but it took a while to accept that eating any sentient being was the same thing. we can think of little ducks or pigs as being "cute", but the christmas duck is delicious, as is the bacon and eggs for breakfast. jonathon swift's "modest proposal" could be a solution for our overpopulation today...
