Anti-Aging with Bio-Identical Signaling

The actual products I am referring to are called NanoVi™ or NanoVi Pro™ devices. Both work the same way but the Pro device is more powerful so it takes less time for a session. When considering whether a particular protocol is right for you, one can always look into the testing that has been done on the various protocols that come our way. Measures of oxidative stress damage and DNA repair are good ways of validating this particular approach.

According to Eng3, a recent study showed that double strand DNA breaks repaired 54 percent faster when performance athletes used the NanoVi Pro™ device as part of their training regime. A German diagnostics company, in cooperation with an Olympic training center in Vienna, did this study. A second area of research involved measuring aldehydes, which are a well-accepted marker for oxidative stress damage. Again, the NanoVi Pro device proved to be beneficial. On average, participants improved their score by 14 percent after just one 20-minute session.

Who uses it?

Think about the aging process, which wouldn’t happen if all cells functioned, and replicated themselves, flawlessly. We age because damage is not counteracted by the body’s repair mechanisms. It is the same with chronic or age-related diseases. The body is simply not able to fix things fast enough so cells become dysfunctional. Disease sets in when enough cells are not working properly. Tipping the scales in favor of repair is the perfect way to help the body heal itself.

Or, if they can find no molecules to combine with, ROS emit their own excitation energy that signals sensor molecules to trigger the oxidative response through Redox Signaling, defending cell functioning.

It should be clear, then, why humans are healthier when their cells can call on more signals for Oxidative Response. Unfortunately, however, as we age, our ability to make these important messengers diminishes; or, an increase in anti-oxidants may overwhelm them.

But cells are able to balance their negative effects using the Reactive Oxygen Species’ signal-emitting capacity. The body produces enzymes within cells that mix, stabilize, and balance ROS and RS to form balanced Redox Signaling complexes. As those float around the cell, antioxidant barriers, positioned strategically within the cell, readily neutralize them so as to protect sensitive structures such as DNA.

This is one way the human body works continuously to maintain cellular health. Signals for Oxidative Response emanate from Redox Signaling Molecules, which are produced primarily by mitochondria. Mitochondria are organelles that reside within every cell of the human body – at a rate of anywhere from 10 to 5,000 mitochondria per cell. Collectively, mitochondria account for more than half of the dry weight of the body, and they produce 95 percent of all of the fuel that the body uses – that fuel is ATP, a nucleotide that transports chemical energy within cells.

Mitochondria metabolize simple sugars from foods we eat and convert them into ATP cell fuel. But that process has byproducts that can be harmful: Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) and Reduced Species (RS). Those are two varieties of Redox Signaling Molecules. Reactive and unstable, they pose a threat when they connect with other molecules.
