This mix of apple juice and “crunchies” forms a luxurious whole-body exfoliant that is moisturizing and soothing.

Apple juice, honey, whipping cream, and oats make this formula rich in alpha-hydroxy acids and gentle skin-sloughers to make you glow from head to toe. Smells delicious, and simple to make, too!

INGREDIENTS

5 tablespoons whipping cream
1 tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons fresh apple juice
4 tablespoons tapioca pearls
2 tablespoons whole rolled oats, lightly crushed
1 cup Epsom salts or coarse sea salt
1 drop rose essential oil
1 drop neroli essential oil
2 drops palmarosa essential oil
2 drops lemon peel essential oil

1. Warm whipping cream in microwave for about 15 seconds, then remove from microwave.

2. Add honey and apple juice, then stir to combine.

3. Add tapioca and oats, then stir.

4. Add salt and stir well.

5. Add essential oils and stir.

6. “Age” the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 8 hours before using.

7. To use, stand naked in a dry bathtub and scoop some of the mixture in your palms. Beginning with your extremities, gently scrub your skin in circular motions, moving up your legs to your thighs, and from your hands to your shoulders. If you have a helper to scrub your back, all the better! This scrub is even gentle enough to smooth over your breasts (avoid the nipples) and lower neck area. Rinse off and pat dry with a towel.

Makes one application.
