April’s Fruits & Veggies Inspire Dining Al Fresco

With the sun finally shining and a light breeze blowing, wouldn’t you agree that food tastes better? The spring weather just invites you outside and you’re no longer limited to dining at your table, but you can head to the park for a picnic, grill on the patio, or even dine al fresco at your favorite restaurant. Flavors pop, conversations seems better, and you’re even inspired to eat healthier.

The early spring produce will mostly include vegetables, as fruit tends to thrive in the warmer months of summer. In season for April you’ll find these fruits and vegetables.

Vegetables: spring cabbages, carrots, potatoes, morel mushrooms

Fruit: Limes, lychee, papayas, strawberries

Who wouldn’t be inspired to eat something healthy with that list? With the cabbage, carrots, and potatoes, you could make a simple vegetable soup or stew.
