The energies of this day ask us to remember 'The Night of the Broken Glass' or what has become known as Kristallnacht. On this night in 1938 Nazi Germany a coordinated attack left 91 Jews dead while another unfortunate 25,000 to 30,000 were arrested and deported to concentration camps. All this occurred between the time the sun went down and then rose again the next morning. This one night saw consequences of violence that included the destruction of thousands of synagogues, the ransacking of tens of thousands of businesses and homes, and the beginning of a genocide program that continues to haunt civilized man to this day. Protection was nowhere to be found, and humanity was apparently absent that night as well. Feng Shui says that hanging bird feathers around the perimeter of your front door or entry, especially those that you've collected from outside areas, will act like the blood of the lamb over the door and keep everyone living inside safe and protected. As you affix these feathers of protection to your doorway, say a silent prayer for all of those who had no protection when they needed it most. And then say one of gratitude for all of those who keep us safe and free to this day.

Yes, we are back to the same question as to how we are to know which left side area. Is it based on the direction your front door is facing (my case, East) if you're looking outward to the East. Or, is it based on going into your home (for me, walking in from the East but walking inward to the west?) This is very confusing & someone needs to explain it.
