Always on the lookout for simple tips to bring our bodies back in balance, we found this couldn’t-be-easier way to connect the positive and negative poles of the nervous system, as described by Bear Heart, a Native American shaman. He says that the flow of energy back and forth will calm you down and balance your body.

Try the simple practice here:

Put your left hand at the base of your spine and the right hand in the curve where your head and neck meet. Hold them there for a few moments.

Make sure you do some quality exercise that you enjoy at least 3 times per week. Go out and walk ... enjoy a garden or park, the beach, anything that is uplifting mentally and spiritually while you are walking. Multi-tasking simple basics like this are indulgent and satisfying with great benefits.
