Sometimes, all it takes is some animal love — and a dash of animal instinct — to have a happy ending.
After a nearly 15 hour search for an Alabama boy with Down syndrome, 10-year-old Kyle was found alive, and, aside from a few scrapes and bruises, healthy. Shoeless and wet, Kyle was discovered by a volunteer searcher, Jamie Swinney, and his family dog. The pooch was on a mission of her own — her puppies had also gone missing. And luckily, both the puppies and Kyle were found alive in the woods.
“I heard the dogs barking again and followed him down there and started hollering for the puppies and I hollered for him and he hollered back. He was in the creek about a half a mile over the ridge,” Swinney told WAFF.
Officials believe the puppies helped the boy stay warm overnight.

Awesome story and awesome dog. Pit bulls get a bad rep. It's all in how your raise your pet.
Sounds very nice and healthy.

+ add your ownA lovely heartwarming story, just glad that the boy and puppies were found safe and well .
there are many stories of animals helping lost children. there was a series called 'feral children' which looked at children being brought up with monkeys, dogs etc. it seems each generation has had it's own miraculous 'feral child'. but it shows how much animals are prepared to give to help. maybe we humans can learn a thing or two from them?
Thank you for sharing.
Great :-)
Inter-species communication happens all the time in nature. Only humans seems to be unaware of that...
Takich wydarzeń jest o wiele więcej, tylko my o tym nie wiemy, a szkoda.
Thanks
Has to been devine intervention, for both the boy and the puppies to survive. I'm sure they kept each other warm during the night.
