The Plague was obviously sent by the Great Cat Mother in the Sky to avenge all the tortured, murdered cats. When the Great Cat Mother decides it's payback time, you better watch out! After all, She's the one who evolved us from simians so cat servants would have opposable thumbs to manipulate can openers & hold catbrushes. What She has done, She can also undo.
