Today, I checked out this website, showcasing a project in which professional artists recreate children’s drawings. It’s inspiring because I’m certain that the dramatic and beautiful pieces created by the professionals are what the children had in mind while drawing.
The project demonstrates the power and profundity of a child’s imagination. Children are uninhibited – they are unafraid to draw outrageous or silly things that, as an adult, we would be embarrassed to share with others.
What is more, many of the works of art depict strange creatures and distant places that the children could have no personal knowledge of. I believe that children have a capacity to conceive and imagine the unknown that, as adults, we sometimes underestimate and undervalue.
The ability to imagine the unknown and feel wonder instead of fear is something that tends to be largely lost as we grow into adults. This project is valuable because it reminds us of the importance of being open to and optimistic about the unknown.

+ add your ownChrildren's drawings ? and when they grow up the'll say "they can't draw a straight line"
where have you heard that before ?
A child s imagination is priceless. You just have to learn from them. My 4 year old does something new everyday. It is amazing to sit back and watch. Gotta love them.

That's a doorway to understand them

Children are able to see and express that which is invisible to adults.
the mind of a child is beautiful. Love this
I would rather just look at a child's drawing that an adult scribbling on a piece of paper.
I have mixed feelings about this especially the statement

anyone ask these children this? Childrene are uninhibated and more open to their imagination but
it seems the message is their work wasn't quite right and needed to be fixed
just my opinion
