Eating sensibly as Barbara D says can result in the reduction of cholesterol, including omnivores. So very true. The key word is moderation, organic foods help, especially organic meat and not factory farmed. No, I don't need to eat only a plant based diet as mentioned by some since my portions of meat are small and healthy along with copious amounts of veggies, fruit. legumes, whole grains and certainly no GMO.
