Cocktail-Loving Monkeys (video)

Some people choose to stay away from alcohol, while others would do anything for more… apparently the same is true in the animal kingdom.

The origins of imbibing are similar for humans and monkeys. Our taste for alcohol began from scouring the forests for ripe, fermenting fruit. In recent history, Vervet monkeys have developed a sneakier way to indulge near beach bars in the Caribbean.

When it comes to the love of cocktails, humans and monkeys are more similar than one might think.

Animals that live in close proximity to mankind end up ingesting many things that they otherwise would not. The bears at Yellowstone, the squirrels at New York's Central Park, seagulls at any people populated beach, and the list goes on and on...
Some places post signs asking people to NOT feed the wildlife.... good idea!
The video was sparkling... what a beautiful Island is St Kits... the monkeys so beautiful too....

so, keeping monkeys away from alcohol
1) remove the monkeys, scare them away or ship them elsewhere

2) don't serve alcohol in public. make it illegal to have cocktails outside, even in outdoor resturant and cafe

1 or 2?
