A commercial crocodile farm in Mexico is striking a balance between business and conservation to help protect the region’s endangered Morelet crocodile. Fewer humans on this earth and more animals. I don't agree with this concept. These animals are being raised to die. Crocodile skins, like any other animal skin should no be worn by humans and not sold for profit. I was really surprised by the headlines, as Mexico is not known for it's humane treatment of animals, but after listening to the article, it's typical Mexico, no compassion for animals.
Isaac Bashevis Singer Nobel Peace Prize Winner wrote in his book, 'Enemies a love story', "As often has Herman had witnessed the slaughter of animals and fish, he always had the same thought. In their behaviour toward creatures, all men were Nazi’s. The smugness with which man could do with other species as he pleased exemplify the most extreme racist theories the principle that might is right. Lest we forget!
People should stop buying crocodile skin products. That´s all I have to say.
