Recently a child was born and her parents named her #Hashtag. Her name is almost as absurd as three other recently recorded baby names, Facebook, Scatman and R2D2.
Deciding on what to name your child is one of the first — and biggest — decisions a parent can make. Fortunately, naming your cat is much easier and does not hold nearly the gravity that bestowing a name on a little human being does. You have the freedom to have a little fun and your cat will not be tarnished for life.
Below, I have complied some favorite cat names, divided by distinguishing characteristics. Many of these names, in my humble opinion, would be a serious upgrade to #Hashtag, Facebook, Scatman and R2D2.
I am partial to three of the names below that are bestowed on my cats (Sushi, Riki Tiki Tabbi, and Mr. Mittens), but I am curious as to which names on this list are your favorite. Also, if you have other great kitty names, please share in the comment section below. The person who suggests the best new name by December 20th will be sent a fun little cat-related present, so summon your creative forces and suggest away! Your cat is welcome to participate too.
