Sealed with a Kiss

USE YOUR WORDS

Everyone loves getting a love note. A lust note? Even better. This year, put pen to paper for a Valentine’s Day card sure to make your significant other blush. Get some help finding the right words by taking an erotica writing workshop together—or get inspired with a book of stories. Irresistible: Erotic Romance for Couples, edited by renowned sexuality and relationships writer Rachel Kramer Bussel, hits shelves on February 14th.

Pure Romance Vanilla Bondage

TIE THE KNOT

“Vanilla” may not usually be a word you associate with fireworks in the bedroom, but when it comes to this playful set of silky ties and a blindfold—perfect for first-timers feeling experimental—vanilla never looked so good. After all, a fancy Valentine’s Day dinner calls for a dessert that tantalizes the senses. [Pure Romance, $13]

MAKE THE LEAP

Whether absence makes the heart grow fonder is up for debate…but one thing is for sure: adrenaline makes the heart grow fonder. Studies have shown that an exciting situation can make a couple more attracted to each other. One idea? Grab your sweetie’s hand and hold on tight at a trapeze class. Who knows, you may just discover a new fun and flexible side to your partner. Next up: Cirque du Soleil! [$100 for two, Xperience Days]

I did just this for my boyfreind-- I hired a professional photographer [SCARY ENOUGH!]-- but actually had fun taking some "sexy" pics--and then having them made into a calendar for him-- Plus, I filled the calendar w/ some dates---and took him away for a few days to Orlando... where we stayed at "The Sweet Escape House"-- a VERY romantic place w/ a chocolate and candy theme--so I could give him his own "giant box of chocolates" ! That place made it even more special [sweet escape house, orlando]

Ideas on the internet can be helpful, but the best gifts don't come from lists of gift ideas. They are always gifts you give to someone because you know them so well you can pick out something truly meaningful or desirable for them. It's hard to find such gifts, but spending time thinking about your loved one and trying is generally the best thing to do for them.
