Remodelista editor Janet spotted this simple rack in the back garden of the General Store in San Francisco. Made using large heavy duty bolts screwed into a piece of salvaged wood, this DIY piece serves as both a functional hanging rack and a shelf. Interesting, wish I had a lovely weathered old wooden fence to attached it to! Just a metal balcony sadly which could use some character with weathered old wood!

I think the price is for a 100 count box. I know they are cheeper than that at the local hardware store. However of the real people here I suggest digging thru you junk box and using what ever you have recycled for the hooks including drilling holes ans inserting a stick, old pencils, forcing 3-4 chop sticks in to every hole, piece of scrap pipe. donlt let them styfel you imigination or the free items in your recycle box. dont fall for the you have to buy something new propaganda when you can subsutite somthing old.
