Perfectly tiered for books and personal goods, one can be easily sourced from Ebay or Etsy (like this one shown above, currently on offer from Crown Willow), or maybe even your backyard!

I've seen this idea before and think it's cute,however,I would have one heck of a mess when things fell off.-lamp,clock-reading materials..and if you're going to read in bed, of course,you need a beverage-I do anyway.And with a beverage,I have coasters.Most times,I read for 2+ hours or more.-Then I have a couple of sentimental items also.No..not practical for me but in a guest bedroom a possibility.I really like your idea Nancy P.--a cat tree is perfect!

I think this is very cute! I try to think of nothing as garbage! And repurposing like this helps!

I took a ladder like this, added a board to make a shelf in the back and put carpet on the top and made a cool looking cat tree.
