Wow! Dickens the Golden Retriever worried his human companion when he ran under a fence to get a closer look at a fawn. But all Dickens had in mind was some fun!

Did the woman filming this know nothing? Could she really think that fawn was playing? Look at the defensive posture and the lunges it made. Then watch footage a an adult deer. Looks a bit the same 'eh? Calling the doe dumb just shows how foolish the woman with the dog is. Lady take your blasted dog back to your yard and leave the wildlife alone!
I wish the woman filming would have put her damn camera down and gotten her damn dog. He was harassing the newborn and she just let him do it. Really pissed me off to watch it.
And baby fauns are often left alone in the woods. They have no scent and normally cannot be found by predators. The mother *will* return (unless something has happened to her). Any wildlife refuge will tell you NOT to bring in baby deer, it is normal for them to be found alone.
Baby deer do not need to be rescued. The moms leave them for a little bit but return to them. Baby deer have no scent so predators cannot detect them usually. Do NOT bring baby deer to wildlife sanctuaries.

not seeing MOM deer make me suspect little fawn maybe orphaned as i don't think ADULT MOM DEER WOULD PUT UP WITH A DOG PLAYING WITH HER BABY INSTEAD OF FILMING SHE SHOULD BEEN CALLING WILD LIFE REHABBING AGENCY TO COME RESCUE POOR THING
