In the retrieving world that's called a soft mouth. A dog has to be taught to retrieve this way and Jax has a very good daddy that taught him well. His encouraging words from the side of the pond say it all.

I hope someone took care of the baby bird and released it into the wild. The dog bring the bird out of the water does not tell the whole story. I want to know what the man did with the baby bird.

I'm glad that the hunting dog was good trained and gentle with the little bird, BUT i wonder what happened to the bird after the video ended??!

Good save. Would have been nice to hear the results of the rescue! Were they able to get the baby back in the nest or to a rescue?! Just curious!
