Dr. Oz’s Banana Conditioner: Tested

Dr. Oz’s Banana Conditioner: Tested

By Randy Fritz

Dr. Oz commissioned his researchers to find the best treatment for damaged hair and surprisingly, they ended up with bananas!

At Real Food For Life we wondered if there was something to this and decided to find out (and have included before and after pictures).

I confess being a novice in this area. My own experience has been focused on what goes inside the body from the mouth, not the skin or scalp or dead hair. Therefore, please help me pretend this is serious and scientific!

I do know that shampoo companies spend a lot of money finding out what exactly you can put on the outside of your body. They also process ingredients so they are absorbed properly. I’m sure though that they spend even more money marketing their various “natural” ingredients. Is it all worth it?

Some people who tried the shampoo complained online it was hard to wash the bananas out afterward. This scared Diana since she has such long hair. It was therefore up to me to be the guinea pig!

Here is how it worked!
