How does number 4 help? As far as I'm aware lots of bees die when honey is harvested.

We take our own snacks to the cinema, it's cheaper and we know what we're eating :)
If I go with grand kids to see a movie we make air popped popcorn at home. It has no fat and way less salt. We also have just water with it.
I can only afford the movie theater my family of 3 about 1x a year. I really don't think that one time in 365 is going to turn us into gluttons.
Most of our movies come from getting free movies at the local rental place, and watching at home. Then we do our own popcorn, that you can flavor as you wish. Instead of just butter, when you put oil into the pan, add a few drops of hot sauce, or garlic powder... how ever you want.
Or I just make up some guacamole and get some baked corn chips, and it's unsweetened iced tea for us, not sweetened soft drinks.
thanks for the tips. not buying popcorn and junk at the movies also helps your wallet!
Good look being healthy at the movies. What healthy options do they have, eh? And, of course, its worse when you are there with friends because they surely will get more and more fatty foods.
All you can do is make tiny, tiny little healthy changes. I used to drink soda at lunch and then again in the theatre because I thought: "bleh, its small size and diet, who cares?", but now that I have kidney stones, I drink water only with my meals and then allow my self a small soda in the theatre.
nice reminders
I always get the kids size pop corn and drink water with it. Seems the best comprimise and it still feels fun
We never buy food at the movies, it's too expensive. We make our own trail mix,
so I usually take a ziplock baggie of that and couple bottles of water in a tote bag.
thanks
