I already did a post on green gifts for father’s day, but there are so many cool ideas out there, I thought I’d share some more that I found this week:
1. The Alrahma Gadet Blog lists all sorts of cool, geeky gadgets for dad from an Eton Raptor solar charger to the Eclipse Solar Backpack. [1]
2. Celebrate Green has some fabulous and fun ideas including a recycled license plate belt buckle to a wallet made from a fire hose. [2]
3. The Owl wireless electricity monitor. So cool, you can track every single bit of electricity you use in your home! [3]
4. Mom’s Going Green offered up the idea of non-toxic personal care products for dad like Waleda shave cream. [4]
5. One of my personal favorites, the gift of memberships – such as Sierra Club, World Wildlife Federation or Nature Conservancy – was mentioned by Keen For Green. [5]
I haven’t yet decided what I’m going to get my dad – I found an amazing gift for him for his birthday in April, so I’m going to have to top that with something either super cool that he’s never seen, or something handmade.

A Phytopod-4 would make a great gift for the Dad who likes gardening -- especially if he can't get down on his knees anymore.
