Interesting. I would restart this practice that I had stopped over time!
How darling :) thank you for sharing
I thought I would add *why* some birds like to be petted. Each feather grows through the skin inside…
Thank you

+ add your ownAir compression engine, sounds like a great way to power a car to me.
All mechanics that use air powered impact wrenches have an air motor in their hands. It is very easy to 'super-size' an air wrench to power a car. There is very little gain if the electric power plant supplies coal fired electricity to run the air compressor that makes compressed air to power the car. If quiet clean power is wanted in a city environment,go electric. The air compressor wasts energy in heat lost while compressing air.
Really its appreciated with his low tools and knowledge , i am proud to be Egyptian.
Clever man!
I think it's wonderful. I don't like how they have to keep saying how he's "illiterate". Especially how the one man said "If an illiterate man can do this, imagine what an educated person can do.". As if this man is stupid. Obviously, he's not. He seems smarter than the "educated" ones, WHO built it? He did.
Anyway....I hope this helps Egypt out too. : )
ya don't gotta go to college to use yer noggin! good for him!!
Congratulations for giving it a go and being so successful is just awesome
This has not been an ongoing quest by engineers. An air motor can be made from any piston engine by using steam-engine valve timing. It was popular for use in mines, but, as Achmed has discovered, the range is always short. The "Air Car" in France has been overpromising for a decade.
Producing compressed air involves all the usual issues of power plant pollution, and if the heat of compression can't be used, there is a tremendous waste of energy. If it can be used, and the vehicle is covered with heat exchangers to re-warm the air between expansion stages, it could potentially be "over 100% efficient" in the sense that a heat pump is. However, compressed air is far more dangerous than even Hydrogen. Like a high explosive, all of its energy can be released instantly, with no oxygen mixing required. A parking lot or a traffic jam full of air tanks could blow up in a chain reaction.
If only Egypt could set itself on a good path economically, there would be many fantastic Egyptian engineers working to help the world. Let's hope they can turn their country around now.
What I love most is that the guy had no formal education and just used his head and with the help of others came up with this. Not the first but yeah for him
