Erogenous Zones: We’ve Got the Map if You’ve Got the Time

Erogenous Zones: We’ve Got the Map if You’ve Got the Time

When youíre all hot-and-bothered and in the do-me-now phase of a relationship, itís easy to skip foreplay and go straight to the main event. You donít need time to get turned on and sex feels sensual enough because youíre so into the person youíre into.

Why bother touching anything else but each other?

Hereís why: Touch can make intense, delicious sex even more intense and delicious.

Your skin is the largest sensory organ you have with many erogenous zones to make you melt. Explore them with someone (or on your own) and see if it makes sex more intimate and exciting.

Everybody reacts to erogenous zones differently, so try a lot of them. Also, menís zones may differ from womenís zones. Here are some interesting ways to touch them. And here are a few decadent, sensual textures you can fool around with when youíre in the mood to play:

  • Faux fur or feathers
  • Silk or satin
  • Velvet
  • Warm water
  • Ice
  • Lotions and oils (use as is or gently warmed)
  • Liquid latex
  • Leather
  • Smooth metal, glass, or polished wood (yes, really)

As usual, make sure you have birth control covered. With so much emphasis on pleasure, things could get explosive, if you know what we mean.

Rofl, Maureen H! Good point, Naomi A. Lol, Barbara D. Amusing.

Yes, not one word of 'disgusting' from Teresa W.

Renata B is always here to give the militant vegan take on everything. You don't want to use leather or silk, don't use it. The rest of us will decide what to use, despite the soapbox that some vegans always have to get on, no matter what the subject is, every topic has to become the lecture circuit.

Who wrote this, you ask? The author's name is always on the article, does it strain your eyes to look? An author who is obviously not vegan, no doubt. As for leather, if cows are ending up as meat, then what is the point of throwing what becomes leather away, seems to be a waste. Some people buy leather, others can't be bothered to. The Indigenous peoples use all of the animal, they know better than to waste. Christine D, if you don't want to use leather, or silk, no one is forcing you to use it.

Hmmmm so touching something else than my partner in bed is a great experience to connect with her. Hell if i wanted that i would not have got into bed with her in the first place. I would have jumped into the car and headed downtown to the sex shop, carpenters shop or local supermarket as the case may be to find something that i hope to excite my senses. I think the author is having trouble separating the real thing from the sex shop fantasy LOL.
