This is one excited dog with almost as much energy as the couch moving pup in another video. Curiosity is not always just for cats.

We have always believed in using Havahart traps to catch house mice. About 25 years ago, we caught a mouse who was SO pregnant, that we felt it would be cruel to put her outside. That very night she gave birth to 11 babies, who all lived. My mom's dog, Koko (a cattle dog rescue) adored them. We separated the boys and girls after they were weaned into 2 aquarium tanks and had them for 5 years, after which they all passed away from old age. Every day, Koko would watch them for hours while they ran their wheels and played. They grew up so tame that Koko could kiss them and they would climb on her nose (even the wild-caught mother). They were Koko's little friends, and they enriched her life so much. Koko passed away when she was 14 years old, and I know that she is in Heaven now, with her little mice friends, waiting for the rest of us to come. This video brought back such memories, thank you for sharing. I saw it once before, but now I thought that others might enjoy this story.
