i wasn't aware of the electrolytes drink advice, but as another reader commented, the sugar content would be something that would concern me, especially if they were feeling sick, had diarrhea, were fatigued and had stomach cramps. too much sugar in a weakened state wouldn't allow them any bed rest ad the body would be 'wired' on sugar! however, the basics of food poisoning is to remember cleanliness, prepared properly [gutted, washed etc] and cooked properly. you can't go wrong if you follow those!
Thank you for sharing.
I got food poisoning just once that I remember. It was from a 24 hour mexican joint. Severe, explosive diarrhea about 4 or 5 hours after eating it. Lasted a couple of days then went away by its self.
Fluids, fluids, fluids, pee, pee, pee. If fluids are going in and urine is not coming out.......immediately go to the emergency room. Your kidneys are failing.
Thanks
