From the “oh-yeah?-take-that!” department, a wounded fox shot the hunter who was trying to kill it when the pair got into a scuffle. How do a fox and hunter end up in man-to-paw combat? The hunter approached the fox after shooting it from afar, only to have the fox resist when the man tried to extinguish its life with the butt of his rifle. The fox somehow pulled the trigger, shooting the hunter in the leg before making a hasty escape. Go, fox!
The unnamed hunter was in a hospital, in Belarus, with a leg wound and presumably a lifetime of ridicule. The fate of the fox remains unknown.

+ add your ownToo bad that fox didn't know how to aim better. I'm not even joking.
Poor fox...
Can't think of why anyone would want to hunt foxes, they are fascinating and intriguing animals. Not too optimistic about the fate of the fox however, was likely wounded and in the wild severe wounds are often a death sentence. I remember watching fox kits as they grew up in the wild, we would spend hours watching their antics. One was very bold and he always lead the playfulness with the other kits.
I hope the fox recovered, but knowing the kind of damage a bullet can do to a small animal...poor thing probably died of its injuries. The hunter got what he deserved if you ask me. I don't have a problem with people hunting for food/survival, but fox hunting is and always has been pointless, cruel bloodsport.
I truly wish that were possible, the only downside is that the police would kill the Fox for killing the man. Why is it that when a person kills he very rarely gets the death penalty, but animals always do. Something very wrong here. Go for it Fox! Here you will get away with it because you deserve the right to defend yourself.
Go fox go! and hope you made it. I call it instant karma and wish to see it more often since some people don't want to learn in a non-violent manner!
Way to go, Mr Fox! The role of foxes in the overall ecological balance is much like that of coyotes and wolves, yet all three are terribly maligned and victimised for our greed and stupidity. When I was a hunter [I turned 70 recently], we only went after deer. They were far too numerous for their own good in the area of Northern California where I lived, so to cull a few hundred that thousands could live fuller lives made sense. This guy was a murderous fool, IMO. I had 200 chickens, and two fox lived nearby. I let them take what they wanted, as chickens are many and fox are few!
I hope that the fox is finally safe. Hope the hunters leg will be a dragging piece after the recovery. So he will not vander into jungles again for another kill. What goes around comes around & in this case "What went around came around"!!! So now he knows how badly it can get hurt with pain & agony. Good for you man.
I love it!!! This fox deserves a trophy!!!
Which one should be, folks??
I have an idea, but some would consider it too cruel. hahaha
