Next time you’re mopping up the floors, consider adding essential oils to the soap and water. This author does, and whenever guests enter her home they almost always exclaim, “What smells so good in here?”

She notes that besides their wonderful aromas, there are known beneficial effects from essential oils that can be experiences by your whole family when their use is incorporated into the daily routine.

Here her recommended essential oils for floor-cleaning solutions:

Combine 20 drops of pure essential oils with Murphy’s oil soap or a health-food store brand of all-purpose detergent (Murphy’s is actually a detergent) as directed, to 2 gallons of water.

SUGGESTIONS
Eucalyptus
Lavender
Lemon
Patchouli
Pine
Rosemary
Sweet orange
