Fabulous Formulas to be Free of Fleas

Over the years we have put up a number of different less toxic
solutions for ridding a pet and home of fleas.

The reason we have put up a variety of formulas is to meet a wide range of variables: Cats are sensitive to ingredients that don’t effect dogs, some people have more carpet than others, and on and on. What we do know is that there is absolutely no reason to resort to toxic flea bombs and toxic chemical pesticides, and many reasons to avoid them for your health, the health of your pet, and the planet!

We’ve gathered a number of flea solutions here for you, so you can
mix and match as you need for your own particular circumstances.

put strips of duct tape just under the base of your couches, chairs and beds, the fleas get stuck. also, bowls of water with just a bit of liquid soap works as well. the fleas are attracted tot he water, but the soap kills them, but don't use that method if you have indoor pets, the soap will make them sick if they (like my cat used to do) drink out of it. plain water works too, but not as affective, because some fleas could jump out of the water.

The time frame for stuffed animals in the freezer is 48 hours. If you place the stuffed animals in a sealed garbage bag with out freezing it is for two weeks. These are same guidelines for lice.

My children have MANY stuffed animals. I've heard putting the animals in the freezer will kill any fleas on them, but how long do they have to be in there?

You have an error on this page. In the first paragraph you say it's not good for cats and then below it is. What's the deal?
