Great Green Design for Home, Office & Pets

Listen, laugh & learn with the Green Divas (and Green Dude Scott) anytime – Podcast here!

An all green diva crew in the studio today (green dude scott called it in today). The show pretty much followed the theme of eco-design for home, office and pets. Our GD correspondent, Kimberly Phipps-Nichol called in from Reno, NV and talked a little 101 about LEED design certification and about some of the cool commercial LEED certified design work she’s done in Nevada.

GD Lisa’s Take Two repurposing segment complemented the theme before we got on the air with Kari Whitman from LA, who is the eco-interior designer to the stars. Go to her website and see fun pics of her gorgeous AND earth-friendly design work for celebrities like Jessica Alba, Viginia Madsen and Emilio Estevez - and their pets too

Kari is a serious pet lover and rescuer and has a wonderful non-profit rescue called Ace of Hearts. She also has some amazing earth-friendly AND pet-friendly dog beds that are tre chic with her GreenerPup business, which donates 100% of profits to the Ace of Hearts rescue.

The Sleeping Naked is Green segment was focused on recycled ceramic dishes. Hear just the fun 5-min segment by clicking here.

As always, please visit our website for LOTS of relevant links & resources from the show – Green Divas website.

Hope you’ll listen to this broadcast!

we love having our green diva mascot, spooky, here at green divas headquarters. like a few nice green plants, pets in the worksplace add wonderful energy to the working environment. unless someone is allergic of course. i always try to remember to warn folks before they come to meet us at the office that we have a cat here.
