I think cumin is my favorite spice. I always add at least twice the amount called for in recipes!
Good to remember, especially in the midst of discouragement and disappointment. Thank you!
I don't think this is a "worn out" debate. Rather I think it's an ogoing debate about Romney's chara…

+ add your ownToo many creatures die from these. The design needs radical re-designing. The talk that was about lowering them closer to the ground would include animal and human deaths as well. Kids explore things that look exciting, and deer easily jump 8 feet. Giant fan blades pose a deadly threat to birds and bats. I'm all for the idea, but we need to enclose them in some way that doesn't reduce the wind and thus defeat the purpose.
Not really, but innumerably better than fossil fuels....
Compared to coal, petroleum and nuclear sources, a few minor side effects of wind energy are preferable.
We are suffering through this anti wind power nonsense in Kings County Nova Scotia Canada. The doom-sayers have turbines killing babies, livestock, crops etc. Some of these folks are reportedly intelligent! Not so much!
There have been various peer reviewed studies that state that wind turbines do no harm either economically, physically or mentally. But these idiotic arguments against wind farms are harming my health!
Good. They have lots of them in Denmark and there never was any talk of health problems.
The damage that they do is nothing compared to the damage that is being done by being tardy over clean, renewable energy. I'd rather be surrounded by windmills and solar thermal powerstations than have one dirty oil pipeline going through my neighborhood.
Have a look at: beyondzeroemissions.org
It is clear that renewables are doable!
What about the millions of birds and bats they are killing.... including nearly countless bald and Golden Eagles (during migration) and other times as well, hawks, owls, and even song birds. I wouldn't jump so fast to say they are safe. Yes, alternative energy is extremely important, but until it is fine tuned NOT to kill so many magnificent species, it is NOT safe yet!!!
thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the article and video. I agree that wind turbines are harmless to our health. Yes they are very big and tall, but look at the huge areial transmitters they are using now. Here in Alberta they are going to build them all the way from Calgary to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and I do believe that they are health hazards.
These are huge, heavy machines, and someday there will be fatal accidents associated with them. However, it won't come anywhere the total suffering caused by oil and gas.
Thanks for the article.
