One morning this past May, a resident of Bush Prairie, Washington noticed something strange happening outside– a deer wasn’t leaving his yard and she seemed to be frantically concentrating on the rocks and boulders that form a wall along the property line.
When he and his neighbors went out to investigate, they heard the sounds of a fawn crying. The poor creature had somehow gotten itself trapped in the gaps of the rocks.
But luckily, the local fire department came to the rescue! After moving the heavy boulders out of the way with Jaws of Life, the fawn was reunited with its mother!
Watch this video of the Clark County fire department’s heroic rescue of the fawn:

+ add your ownWhat heros and a wonderful mother. Best of luck to the cute fawn.
Good job guys!
Thanks for sharing and thanks to all who helped that day and care because they chose to. Hero's.
Great video! Thanks for posting!
wonderful firemen full of concern and respect for life
Such a blessed mother. She braved the noise of the equipment because her love for her baby was more powerful than her fear. I have nothing but respect for firemen. A cop will shoot your dog in your yard, but a fireman will enter a burning building to save your dog and give it mouth-to-mouth. I am so glad that this story had a happy ending. For me, this story was a little glimpse of Heaven.
Great fire department!
