Horoscopes Come to Care2!

Call me “kooky,” “new age-y,” “enlightened,” or “silly.” Call me anything you want–I have an unabashed love of horoscopes. They’re fun insights and are, with eerie frequency, right on the money–a cosmic explanation for why we are the way we are. So, of course I’m thrilled that we have launched an Astrology category in Care2 Healthy & Green Living. We’re offering ’scopes for everyone and every situation.

CatScopes
Cosmic Calendar
Couple’s Love
DogScopes
Feng Shui Daily Tip
FoodScopes
GayScopes
GreenScopes
Home & Garden
LesbianScopes
MomScopes
Single’s Love

Greenscopes are my favorite–easy, personalized tips for living more consciously. My Aquarius greenscope for the day:

“Don’t overspend on meals at restaurants when you can cook at home. Organize all your favorite recipes from friends, blogs and magazines by making your own cookbooks. Affix your recipes to a blank book, leaving room for notes to customize the dish in your own way. Make separate cookbooks for organic main meals, side dishes and salads, snacks and desserts. The more creativity you use in your cookbooks, the more you’ll want to play chef at home.”

Sounds good to me. What’s yours?

Promoting astrology degrades Care2 in my opinion. I'd prefer not to have horoscopes foisted on me, as well as it having nothing to do with health or the environment...

It is silly and unenlightening to give any weight to astrological horoscopes. We humans can make a believable, orderly science from anything. Anyone can find "amazing mystery" in coincidences. By reading ALL the horoscopes on any given day, one can find "insights" from many other signs not their own. Our universe, including our solar system, has always been, and will continue to be, chaotic and ever-changing. Horoscopes are parlor game fun and should never be taken very seriously.

Yes to all you people who read horoscopes, even the ones that does not address your particular case, a horoscope is more than just divination. Specially when we are dealing with larger issues like the environment and health. Astrology is slowly, but surely, becoming more main street everyday.

Hooray, I love horoscpes! I can't say I have any religious faith or much pride in my heritage, but I do love being a Libra.

A lot of the best things jesus said was suppressed for personal gain and political reasons. Let dogma go... and evlove... he did.

I, for one, would appreciate knowing where in the Good Book you are getting this reference about what Jesus said about the stars... Thank you Leigh B.
