When there are enough people who have healed themselves, the environment will also mirror that.

I am not speaking of policy changes and adopting the Kyoto accord. Nature is a living expression of consciousness. It adapts to our evolution as we adapt to it. That relationship, as with everything in the tangled hierarchy, is reciprocal and interdependent.

It’s disturbing that so much of the New Age thought is centered on catastrophic earth changes, such as earthquakes and depleted ozone layer. This kind of prophetic negativity cannot attain a good end. It encourages the prophecy to come true when what we want to do is exactly the opposite.

The principle to keep in mind is that consciousness wants to evolve. Therefore it is much easier to encourage healing than to align yourself with disease. Love and respect for the environment would create a reversal of the spiraling deterioration in the physical world. We need to trust that this is true, because in a very real sense the environment is sustained by human awareness.
If you align your awareness with catastrophe, nature will factor those thoughts as your vote for the future. The peace movement can align itself with a healed planet, adding millions of votes to that side. And since our votes carry depth of awareness, they will be far stronger than any thoughtless vote for destruction.

This is a beautiful planet and every day I am grateful to be here and to enjoy all it has to offer. Every day this planet gets more and more beautiful. We are one people, we are here to love each other, to respect each other, to enjoy each others company and each others creations. We are loved beyond measure and this love flows through us. We create our world by our thoughts and our feelings, so let us be happy and appreciative and open our eyes to the beauty that is all around us !

Every morning the second I open my eyes I thank the universe for it's strenght. Life has been around for a long time....

Would someone please tell this to the Bible-thumpers who are determined to see the Earth consumed by flames?

so true! when we decide that our earth is dying, it does nothing but die. instead, decide that our earth is alive, powerful and full of beautiful energy that is still open to discovery

The focus on disaster is all too easy - just watch the news regularly. It may well be that only a major catastrophe can clear the way for a new start, as they seem to think. I'd rather focus on keeping my own little corner of the world - as in where I am, and the people I contact - as positive as I can. Thanks for helping me feel there are other like-minded folks out there - sometimes it gets lonely :-)

Stop thinking negative! What you focus on most you will get. The universe doesn't hear, "I don't want that I want this". It just hears, "I want this" so it being like a Jinn gives you more of the don't want because you in fact are saying you do want it by focusing on it! Focus on what you DO want and you will get it. Let's all right now stop focusing on war, poverty, injustice, Ect.. STOP watching the news it is harmful to you. Let's start focusing on peace, abundance, happiness and the Jinn will give us more of it. Align yourself and thoughts to what you do want then you will get more of it. That is the secret which isn't really a secret after all! I want MORE postitve things so I'm focusing on positives! Thanx Deepak my friend for being positive force

The Kyoto accord is ulimately important as policy. as big business must do their parts to change, without focus on profit. I agree shifts commence within the thoughts of each person. I embrace the changes that are coming and ponder why change has to be seen as negative, destructive..terrible whatever words we choose to attach. Each of us can do our part in this change.
WE all have made "wishes" for world peace, for example, but it will eventually align if /when every man/woman stops believing, supporting and seeing merit in war. Yes, there are always arguments for some validity in each war, but in the end how else do we manifest world peace? And one person can make a difference when the numbers add up. Change is the ulimate constant...it is up to us what we do with that.

I was once looking for another appartment. I viewed an appartment on the 10th floor of a building and upon looking out and seeing no trees or a bird in sight....I thought how could anyone live here...
Right now I have a cherry blossom outside my window and experience the four seasons in such a beautiful way. ....you see what you know....
Thank you for the reminder Deepak.

I try to be positive.

It's sure not easy, but I try.

I like what Randy Mermel said in his comment on here where he mentioned they asked Mother Teresa to attend a war protest and she said "no", however she would attend a peace celebration.

I think along with the positive thoughts and energy that we still need to work in the physical world to change things, but so as to stay positive, just do what Mother Teresa did.
