We all love avocados, right? Right! So there is nothing worse than losing half of this tasty, yet expensive, fruit to a few days in the refrigerator.
See, the Omega-3 fatty acids found in the avocado are extremely sensitive to light, air and heat, and the moment you cut one open, it begins to brown. Actually, I think it begins to brown the moment you pick up the knife, if not sooner. But using the easy steps outlined in this video, you can make that leftover avocado half last for days, almost a week!

I do not have a problem as I usually eat both halves in the day or even sooner!!
I love Hass avocados the best. I find the shepperd ones a little bitter and not always nice inside, reed are good too.
Well I never!!! What a great tip. I am never without an avocado or a red onion so this is so simple. Usually I leave the seed in and cover with other side of avocado after scooping out the flesh, then wrapp in paper towel. I usually discolours a little. Thanks.
Thanks for the tip!
